Used shredders for municipal waste and RDF
An RDF line almost always starts with a slow pre-shredder: it opens bags, reduces bulky items and prepares the flow for magnetic separation and screening.
Pre-shredding is about torque and tolerance to foreign objects: that is why slow single-shaft machines with configurable rotors are used, changing output size by changing teeth and combs.
Machines like the Komptech Terminator, with rotor variants from universal to fine, cover everything from bulky-waste reduction to RDF preparation. Our used stock includes refurbished, tested slow shredders.
For plants running in shifts, downtime is what matters: new gearboxes with 24-month warranty or overhauls with 12, teeth and combs in stock, shipped across Italy.

- You start with a slow pre-shredder and, depending on the line, refine further with dedicated machines. Tell us your target size and we will point you to suitable used stock.
- Can a refurbished used machine handle multi-shift work?
- A refurbished slow shredder with a tested gearbox and available wear parts is exactly the right profile: the critical point is maintenance, not age.
- Do you also supply parts for plant shredders?
- Yes: teeth, combs, ring gears and multibrand gearboxes (Doppstadt, Komptech, Hammel) from stock, identified from the nameplate via WhatsApp.
