For cuttings, pruning and clean wood the high-speed hammer shredder is the typical machine of platforms and farms: hammer rotor, sizing grid, plant-level throughput. Series like the Doppstadt AK were built for green waste, scrap wood, pallets and roots.
Furniture, frames, beams and demolition wood need torque, not speed: the slow single-shaft machine tears material against a comb and tolerates nails and hardware. Machines like the Doppstadt DW 3060 are the reference for bulky and demolition material.

- High-speed pays off on green and clean wood; slow on dirty wood, bulky items and demolition, because it tolerates nails and foreign objects. Tell us your material and we will point you to the right family.
- Can a slow shredder handle nails and hardware in wood?
- That is its home ground: low speed tolerates foreign objects far better than a fast rotor. Iron is then removed with a magnetic separator.
- Is a high-speed shredder also good for pallets?
